  1. Are you accepting new clients? Yes. If you are comfortable, email me at mmobley@intentionalpracticecounseling.org and let me know a little about what you are seeking.

  2. How long are sessions? Sessions are typically 53+ mins.

  3. What is your cancellation policy? I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel the time that is set aside for you, please email with 24 hours notice. If less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged a $75 fee. It may be helpful to know that I adhere strictly to this policy.

  4. How do we begin? If you’re interested in working together, please send me an email. From there, we set up a 20 min video consultation. This is an opportunity for sharing about what sessions are like & an opportunity for you to ask questions. Additionally we’ll discuss logistics and availability. If we choose to work together, I’ll send the intake paperwork your way and we’ll set up an appointment.

  5. What do sessions cost? I am happy to discuss my fees for therapy. I am licensed in MA and NC. Out of network sessions are $185 for a 53+ min session. I reserve the right to raise my session rates at the beginning of each year.

  6. Do you accept health insurance? Yes. I am currently accepting most BCBS, Aetna, United HC and Cigna plans. Prior to our first appointment, I will work to verify benefits. I encourage potential clients to also reach out to their insurance to verify coverage.

  7. Will I receive a Good Faith Estimate? Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.

  8. Do you offer in person appointments? Yes. I offer in person appointments in my office in Chapel Hill.

  9. Do you work with diverse populations? I provide therapy for individuals from all walks of life, welcoming clients of diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences. My approach is compassionate, inclusive, and tailored to support each person’s unique journey toward growth and healing.

  10. What can I expect in session? In our sessions, you can bring whatever feels most pressing—whether it’s emotions, stressors, or life challenges. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening for you, find ways to cope, and discover strategies that feel useful in your daily life. Sessions are guided by your needs, at your pace, in a supportive and understanding space.
